The UK government's current guidelines state that you should only leave your home for "food, health reasons or work (if you cannot work from home)". But you can still make use of your garden!
Britain is currently in the grip of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that has already claimed tens of thousands of lives worldwide. In order to slow the virus down, the UK government is urging people to stay at home - although you can still leave the house for the following reasons:
- Purchasing food and other essentials
- Going to work (if working from home is not an option)
- Exercising once per day
- Medical needs (such as blood donation, caring for others, etc.)
You can also go out in the garden, if you have one - in fact, the government's mental health and wellbeing advice explicitly recommends gardening as a good way to stay healthy during this lockdown.
But don't worry if you haven't got green fingers. There are plenty of things you can do in the garden besides digging, planting and pruning!
Who said you had to stick to one colour of decking boards? We certainly didn’t. In fact, one of our favourite things is when a customer comes to us with an idea on how to combine two of our composite decking colours for a mixed decking design. We’re in love with all the mixed decking designs we’ve done so why not explore the option yourself? It’s sure to add an extra flair to your outdoor space!
For those of you who are looking to add a new deck to your property, the chances of wanting a decking material that can stand up to elements are high. I mean, who wants deck that is going to fall apart at the first sign of a storm, right? Right. So, knowing whether or not your deck can withstand the challenges that Mother Nature brings is sure to be a huge selling point. One of the many questions that you may ask in that regard when looking to add a composite deck to your property is whether composite decking is fireproof, or at least fire-resistant, especially if you live in a climate where situations involving fires such as bushfires are a common possibility. Here, we explain how decking materials are tested and rated and whether or not composite decking is in fact fireproof.
