The UK government's current guidelines state that you should only leave your home for "food, health reasons or work (if you cannot work from home)". But you can still make use of your garden!

Britain is currently in the grip of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that has already claimed tens of thousands of lives worldwide. In order to slow the virus down, the UK government is urging people to stay at home - although you can still leave the house for the following reasons:
- Purchasing food and other essentials
- Going to work (if working from home is not an option)
- Exercising once per day
- Medical needs (such as blood donation, caring for others, etc.)
You can also go out in the garden, if you have one - in fact, the government's mental health and wellbeing advice explicitly recommends gardening as a good way to stay healthy during this lockdown.
But don't worry if you haven't got green fingers. There are plenty of things you can do in the garden besides digging, planting and pruning!
