Decking Case Study: Pontprennau, Cardiff

Mr Puckey contacted TimberTech as he wanted to improve the quality of his outdoor living space. Mr Puckey’s initial enquiry was for a small deck, but after a visit to our showroom, he took an interest in our whole outdoor living range, and ended up completely transforming his space! The results are spectacular, and Mr & Mrs Puckey were thrilled - here’s what they had to say about the project:

Initially, Mr Puckey made an enquiry about having 15 square metres of TimberTech decking installed at his home in Pontprennau. We were more than happy to oblige, and so we sent out a sample pack and brochure to assist him with his decision-making.

A Visit to the TimberTech Showroom

After an in-depth discussion about deck board options and design with our sales executive, Mr Puckey decided to come and have a look around our showroom. It was here that he was able to see our full range of fantastic products, and he began to envision a completely transformed outdoor living space for himself.

Making use of our in-house architect, Mr Puckey received some proposed plans for a garden re-design; in addition to the decking ideas we had previously discussed, this new design also included some sumptuous porcelain products.

Mr Puckey didn’t use our in-house installers; instead, he used a builder who was already completing work on his property, though he chose to lay the decking himself.

This particular project was a joy to be involved in - we especially appreciated how Mr Puckey was able to share our vision of helping people to create the perfect outdoor space. After a relatively modest initial enquiry, this customer was blown away, not only by the quality of our products but by the level of service we were willing to provide. With help from our incredible product range, we were able to help cultivate an idea, and transform Mr & Mrs Puckey’s garden into the ultimate outdoor living space.
