Floorizon® Tongue & Grooved Decking
TimberTech’s Floorizon decking offers a smooth, beautiful surface that brings the comfort of an indoor flooring surface to the outdoors. Floorizon’s tongue and grove design provides a seamless transition of interior to exterior flooring – there are no exposed screws on the surface. The grained surface insures a deck built with Floorizon decking will be safe, desirable and easy to install.
Ideal for steel & timber frame balconies and elevated decks
Floorizon deck boards are ideal for steel or timber frame balconies and elevated decks. Floorizon boards require 300mm ground clearance below the bottom of the timber joists for ventilation. Weep holes are located along the length of the “tongue” to allow rainwater to drain. Floorizon is fastened through the “groove” section of the board and therefore the screw is hidden once the next board is installed, providing a fastener free surface. The added benefit with Floorizon on steel frame balconies is that they can be fastened directly into the steel avoiding the need for battens.
